We are doing some repairs
around the pirates lair. Depending on weather and contractors
we may repaint the exterior this coming year. Can you say
vivid purple? Why sure you can. Actually one wall (pool side)
and all the yellow trim were done last year. We'll see it
may wait until 2006.
Our front door mascot Phyllis the
flamingo pictured on our cover (you didn't know she had
a name did you!). Anyway she is off-location for a vacation
(ok, repairs) right now and should return before the full
rental season gets under way. She needed a vacation and
deserved it, she's been guarding the front door without
a break or complaint for some 3 years now.

We
would like to take this opportunity to once again express
our gratitude to you and your family for choosing our home
for your vacation retreat in 2004. |
| |
 |
We hope you enjoyed staying at our
home. |

It was truly a quiet year and with
time pressing upon us now at the holidays there isn't much
to talk about. There were no major hurricanes, indeed the
weather was generally fairly routine. We had wonderful renters
this year and we thank you all very much for coming and
certainly hope to see you in 2005!
We had hoped to add a new section
to this newsletter, but ran out of time, addressing tips
& tricks for enjoying the home without having to figure
it out on your own. Such as how to best enjoy the stereo
system depending on what you're listening/watching. Hey
it's not always obvious and we'd like to help make it as
easy as possible.

In closing, if you see a problem of any kind, please call our management company. In some cases there were problems we were unaware of and, thus, could not correct. We certainly want to provide the best we can for our guests, there is no reason you should not have a fully functional home. |

So what has changed at A Pirates Paradise
since the end of the peak 2004 rental season? |
 |
|
Hmm, well not much it seems. We have
added most of the amenities folks requested in the past and
simply have not come up with many new ones lately. We are
working on getting a foosball table setup. The one we acquired
is more of a starter set and we may look for a better one
down the road. Anyway it should be ready for use by spring. |
|
For
those who did tell us what they liked and disliked we deeply appreciate
all of the comments we received from you on how we can make our
home a more delightful, peaceful vacation refuge from your everyday
stress. Thank
You and keep those cards and letters coming!
As you plan your
2005 vacation please keep us in mind!
